Aquarium agrees to delay beluga whale delivery amid lawsuit

Last September, an agreement was made to move the 5 belugas from a Canadian facility to the Mystic Aquarium with approval from NOAA and both countries.  The lawsuit was filed last year.

Lawmakers take second shot at ‘Preventing Future Pandemics Act’

First introduced in September of last year, this bill aims to end the potential for the spread of zoonotic disease and wildlife trafficking.
